My first published creation is 'communion' which I wrote for Top Lucifer Week!

One of the first ideas I wrote down is about recently divorced Lucifer locking away his memories to live as a human in 1920s New Orleans, only to—oh no!—fall in love and accidentally sell his soul!

My first WIP Wednesday 🎉! Here’s a (completely unedited) snippet of my #TopDaddyLuciferWeek entry for Day Two: Overstimulation / Sugar Daddy!!

An awareness in the Force upon entering atmo preceeds the pull in her chest once her feet touch the earth. A glance at Vox confirms his ignorance. Alas. It's nothing to bring to Vox's attention—Allie would rather avoid bearing his envy today, and nothing maddens him more than reminders of Allie's innate connection to the Force. Their visit progresses, days passing in a boresome blur. Master Vox refuses to leave Allie's side—even guarding her in the fresher, staunchly avoiding her direction but present nonetheless. Truthfully, Allie resents his affection for her. She is no longer the starving child of a slave. No, she is a Jedi Padawan, almost a Knight. She can protect herself against the drunkards masquerading as slavetraders. Two weeks into their residency, it happens: an opportunity to follow that pull in her core. Vox, blackout drunk from an overeager drinking contest with a Senator, will surely sleep through the night. Allie seizes her chance. The whoosh of the door closing behind her echos loud as a cannon. She waits, one last chance Vox will stop her. Five seconds pass, ten, twenty-five— At thirty, Allie closes her eyes and gives in. The pull in her chest leads her down hallways she's not walked, deep into the forbidden parts of the sanctuary grounds. The Force guides her feet, her capitulation to its whims leading her wheresoever it desires. The compulsion crescendos. Her feet cross over an entryway. Behind, the door locks. Allie's eyes flutter open. "Hello, little doe." The Kessellian Throne Room actualizes around her, the Throne itself atop a raised dais just steps away. Upon it, the King himself. "Hello, your Majesty. Forgive my lack of audience since arriving. The droids did not inform me of your skill within the Force." "You place blame upon my staff's percieved lack of communication and forget I myself issued the summons? Your emotions, so volatile in the Force, have exposed your thoughts since arriving. I know you felt my pull. Why, then, would you ignore my call? Observance gave me the answer: your Jedi Master refuses to grant you leave, even in abulations. Quite odd behavior, and rather insulting of my hospitality, is it not? But it seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, if you seem so fit to lie to me." Excitement simmers low in Allie's belly. Rationality only just holds back her step closer to the dais. She's gone years without a worthy verbal sparring partner—not since the last time Master Yoda entertained her—and in less than a minute the King has relit her pilot light. "Far be it from me to lie to you, Sire. It is true I have felt your presense since my arrival. My Master is rather—protective of my well-being, and trusts none sans him with my safety. My every attempt to escape my Master's side has been thwarted. Today has been the first opportunity I've had to answer your summons without him. I thank you for your genrousity and patience, as is befitting a King of your stature." Allie's heart pounded in her chest, bated breath awaiting the King's response. Surprise flicks like hot grease in her stomach as he laughs, loud and booming, mirth coating his features. "A silver tongue on one so young is an accomplishment! Tell me to whom I speak, lest I name thee little doe." The King's voice drops on that final word. A shiver racks her spine, the Force a swirling maelstrom inside her breast. Holding his gaze, she says, only a singular hitch to her voice, "Alastor Hartfelt, Jedi Padawan."
