So, covid, plants, biology (molecular something-ist). And art. She/her when I have time for it.

Ok, I need to be more consistent in tag use.
C'est une stratégie qui a fait ses preuves !

Another from that shape series, Cinnabar and saturation gold inside

A pendant of a shape from an lld tutorial I bought for polymer clay years ago. Love the colors, there is oatmeal and rainforest in there.
These are all glazed on all sides, I made supports with kiln resistant metal spikes.
The hair ornament is oatmeal in a band on the middle, on mullberry.

A few ceramic pendants and magnets.
My favorite is this teleost fish dentary, oxides on red glaze. Have to make more.
The saturation gold glaze makes great inside surfaces where it cannot run away.
An example is this frog pendant with celadons glazes on the outside.

The sister cup, with glazes amber quartz outside, inside river birch on amber quartz.
And a little bowl: outside and inside river birch, inside and top outside seaweed, outer edge oatmeal

Some tests with this base: cenote, honey flux, river birch, iron lustre

I have bought the Speedball Dragonstone glaze, however it never ever gives me the right colors (reddish when thick on light green).
It is extremely lovely as a turquoise with a toasted appearance when thin, but whyyyy ?

@keolisgroup.bsky.social
your tramways in Paris don't run ventilation when they have to stop, there are no windows the travellers can open, and the drivers are not authorized to open the doors so CO2 gets up to really unhealthy levels in just 10 min: 3706 ppm CO2, people start feeling unwell..

Less successfull, but grew ln me:
Large funnel (I know, not very practical) with "forêt noire" (on glazy) as a base, oatmeal (mostly looking exactly like its name would suggest, but sometimes almost opal-like)
Inside same but oatmeal was dragged down by seaweed and cenote on the points, better.

A few glaze tests
Red cup inside: Amaco hibiscus mat, cinnabar, dark flux on rim,
Outside cinnabar (not quite enough), dark flux on rim
Black cup outside: 1x celadon bloom, honey flux & oatmeal on rim in and out
Inside Botz aquamarine x3 thin honey flux.

And the foot and from above.
Glazes are seaweed and honey flux inside, temmoku and iron lustre outside

Saying goodbye to the Syngnathidae mug !
This one is so hard to photograph, it needs to be seen from multiple directions but it is one of my favorites

Sorry then ! Small cylindrical vases, large cylinder beads...
June 28, 2025 at 1:38 PM
I was let down pretty early...
Really sorry.

We go for cute and earthy tones in the next ones, low animal bowls, and mug for a gift.
Need more spirals.
Warthog temmoku and Iron lustre
Hippo inside sand and sea under iron lustre, out
sand and sea under midnight rain.
Mug sand and sea, midnight rain, inside iron lustre et oatmeal.

A few others from this batch:
Decapod zoea cup/small pitcher.
Pours pretty well, this one deserves some fine tuning and to be tried again.
The glaze inside makes complex swirls, cenote on celadon bloom. On the outside celadon bloom alone, always reliable

Little test cups with saruration gold (both on that picture are the same glaze, extra thick, the cup went full metallic cristals in the middle), the old version of oilspot with seaweed around the rim, and dots of honey flux and saturation gold (alone it is a sad brown) and amber quartz.
June 16, 2025 at 9:54 PM
There is also a nice example of how not to make a test pot.
The upper layer of saturation gold on top ran like crazy, much aided by oatmeal, honey flux and seaweed just below. I also had to chisel the top off.
On the plus side, great test inside of all the vertical glazes on the studio Sherwood

Incredibly happy of this pseudo minoan cup, and keeping it. The glazes are in a very fine layer (might be too fine in places), and the effect is perfect. It also feels great in hand.
I need more of these.

A bit late...
The three very small plants I bought two month ago grew up nicely (red one in another pot)
