Why the hell are we normalising “ray ban” spy glasses? It’s fucking creepy.
I don’t care if they’re from a brand name, I don’t want you to be secretly recording me for whatever purpose.

Someone in the cafe was wearing them the other day and now I see them all over social media.

I wonder if the deal is named brands. Ektar/Gold etc
So by rebranding and then selling, they can sell the same product under a different name

I wonder if this means Eastman have calculated they can beat Alaris is any legal troubles. Especially now that the pension fund has essentially been bought out and is now a private VC.

My understanding is the Alaris Eastman deal expired a while ago but Eastman waited to see how popular Film is again. It’s now decided it is and is basically cutting out Alaris. From my understanding Alaris may have been blindsided by this.

I used to use Ilfosol 3 and that’s where my favourite images have come from with K400. In general I stopped using I3 in favour of D23 and Ilfotec HC. Mostly because I’m trying to save money and keep consistency by making it all myself

Regardless of the loopholes surely it’s a giant “Fyou” to their deal/sister company and the spirit of the agreement

So after making that statement I went back had a look and a couple of my favourite images are on K400.
I think I lost love with it when I tried to stand dev it shoot in lower light and got gold ball grain. Entirely my fault.
