The link he provides talking about how he was way out over his skis on calls that aren't exciting....were all big plays! I hate when Gus Johnson does it for a 2 yard gain too, but none of those were just 2 yd gains!

Are there through lines - yes

Is Trump uniquely malignant in ways those first two never dreamed of - also yes

Is it helpful to the cause of stopping the current admin and moving public opinion even further against him to connect them all - absolutely not

What every non-Georgia SEC fan is screaming

Cause the thing is, good people are going to get hurt either way. We are years past the point of no collateral damage

Yes but to quote @rev-avocado.bsky.social, I'm done preventing these people from the consequences of their actions. Resources are very likely to become limited, no 20B for farmers caught in a trade war they voted for. Texas can get stuffed while their government is instigating a civil war. Etc

The paradox of "I am all powerful God-King" and "Democrats won't let me open the government" may finally be hitting his voters

Some major miscalculations by Trump
and the GOP here. First, after spending ages praising to Trump, letting him rule by executive order, letting him boast about his great power, they thought voters would say the government shutdown was the Dems fault. Americans see the Government as Trump’s.

I've heard evangelicals explaining it as "Wine is a stand in for fun" with out interrogating

1) If wine is fun, why can't you have it
2) If this is a metaphor, maybe the whole god created the world in 7 days might be one too

CPD, but issues warrants for their arrest as private citizens. I think a DA saying this outright that if you unlawfully detain a citizen without a warrant we will file charges would make ICE start following some sort of rules
trendyhendy.bsky.social
I think a better middle ground is instead of sending CPD to block these agents, file charges and arrest the agents who took US Citizens and unlawfully detained them with no probable cause. That is out and out kidnapping

I keep thinking eventually sports fans are going to revolt being squeezed for every last penny, but it hasn't happened yet

Half of them should be in prison, whether that actually happens or not I suppose is still an open question
trendyhendy.bsky.social
This is inarguably the correct take

Also this is wrong on the merits? Movies from the 80s have WAY more sex in them, often very unnecessarily
