Pioneering producer/DJ Hitman Howie Tee, who produced classic hits for rappers like Special Ed ("I Got It Made"), Chubb Rock ("Treat Em Right"), among others, has passed away following an undisclosed illness.

On Friday (May 9), friends and family, including OutKast's Big Boi, gathered to honor late Organized Producer Rico Wade with a memorial statue in East Point, Georgia. The ceremony took place at the corner of Headland and Delowe, the site of the now defunct recording studio The Dungeon.
