I woke up a year ago 100% certain that I had to make a documentary about the Winston Salem chapter of the Black Panther Party. So I did.

Wow I can't believe that Baker & Taylor is going under. Fully agree that book distribution is a huge and often overlooked part of publishing and libraries.

Distribution is THE under-reported story in book publishing (outside of the trade publications) and losing B&T is going to have untold ripple effects on the industry, small presses, and authors.

It was a different time. But I remember when almost every month some health worker was getting publicly slammed or fired for filming at work. Where people are getting healthcare.

My little sister works in healthcare and has the “content” brain worms. She was catching all the strays.

Just saw a care home employee post a video of one of her charges dancing when she thought she was alone and care providers, you really need to…well, CARE about your patients’ privacy! My grandma would have been mortified.
