I could get behind it starting as a tug and general purpose civilian design. When SF needed a new science and other missions hull, they saved time and went off the shelf. Like C-47's developed from DC-3's, with little redesign needed. And like DC3's, it just kept trucking along for a century.

I like the ideas that the secondary hull is a mission pod. Opened and loaded with needed science equipment before deployment, accessed for maintenance by EVA.

There's none. Not every ship needs a ten-story glow stick, because they dont all go warp 9 every other day.

Looked to see if this would have been during Leytons coup attempt, second borg, or Breen attack, but no. Just imagining the scene, the Fed Pres giving a moving speech about Earth being safe and secure now, an agitated admiral stepping up and whispering in their ear. "ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME?!"

I find videos best for things like history or how something works. But news or anything else, I was born and raised before YTube, writing sticks in my head better. And I learned decades ago to skip through the fluff to find the one sentence the article was actually written for.

Think it may have done better as set in the Halo universe, but not following the main story/cast. Leave out Chief, Halsey, and the Keyes', and show what everyone else was doing while MC and Cortana were having their fun. And not trying to rewrite the lore.
