Saw Hamnet today.
Not an easy watch but compassionate as well as
devastating.
Stand out performance from Jessie Buckley and brilliant
direction from Chloe Zhao.
As for the i newspaper article today "Sad films like Hamnet have no place in modern life " ... I couldn't disagree
more strongly !

Good to see High Noon back on the cinema screen
earlier.
Genuinely a classic western, suspenseful, great
performances, a memorable score and masterful
direction from Fred Zinnemann.
Well done Picturehouse for featuring it in their Rep House
season.
