On this day last year, I was kicking back, watching the world go by in this quiet backstreet bar in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. There are some amazing things to see and do in Paris, but sitting in a cafe or bar for a spot of "observer les gens" (people watching) is one of life's simple pleasures!
