August 14th I went to the Hard Rock casino to see the pretenders. Chrissie Hynde was a little bit on the grumpy side, with all these people up front with their cell phones out videoing. She wanted the fans to be in the present for the concert...she demanded..."put your fucking phones away!

Last February I went to Thunder Valley casino to see Govt Mule with Lucas Nelson opening for Warren Hayes and his band. A couple of days later I went to the Senator theater in Chico to see Lucas Nelson again... #govtMule #lucasNelson

Went to see Lyle Lovett at the Uptown theater in Napa, California. He put on a perfect performance along with Leland his bass player. Leland has a channel on YouTube. Leland's videos are tours of that night's concert hall. Flea bagged it in my high top van in the streets of Napa. #Leland

May 2nd I went to see ZZ Top at Thunder Valley casino outside of Lincoln CA 5th time I have seen them. Short but sweet...90 minutes of good old fashion rock and roll! Foghat opened for them. Had never seen Foghat in concert before

June 2nd went to the Toyota amphitheater south of Marysville to see the Red Hot chili Peppers. Great concert... but I got kicked out for sneaking into the front row to snap some photos. Fortunately when I got kicked out it was the last song during the encore. #redHotChilePeppers

The Beach boys played at the Redding Civic auditorium a couple of months ago. Mike Love is the only original band member left, but his son plays guitar and does most of the lead singing. A great 90 minute sing-along! #beachBoys

Dogstar played at the Civic auditorium about 2 months ago. That movie star guy, Keanu Reeves plays the Base guitar but doesn't sing in his band
