Some Houdini sketching from yesterday and this morning. Creating images from ripples in water. This uses the luma of the image to determine how big the ripple should be at the main frame when it all comes together. In this case its frame 38.

Another fun #vexember challenge. The goal was to create this one entirely in one vex node — point generation, colors, animation, all of it! I had a lot of fun working it out. #houdini #3d #vfx

Had a chance to tackle #vexember challenge 2 (glad they're every four days this year). This one was a lot of fun and pushed me to study matrices again (turns out it had been awhile!) Also threw in some Copernicus for the modeling which was really interesting! #houdini

My quick take on #vexember day 1. No fancy lights or renderers here. All vex and a little Copernicus to stitch it together at the end. #houdini

Shared this over on the other app a while ago, but thought the #houdini community here would like it! Implementation of @baabbbaash.bsky.social 's talk on "Single Line Drawings via Math Optimization", this was one of my first Copernicus experiments. Working on a few fun new takes on it, stay tuned!
