1. Do participants read all the books cover to cover? No! We split the books for each week between 4-6 groups of participants.
2. When will we notify registrants about participation? We will notify everyone via email on April 21st.
3. When do participants pick up books? We plan to offer multiple book pickup days in mid May for in-person participants.
4. Are there tests or quizzes throughout? No! Participation is discussion and reflection based.

All applicants are required to be able to attend at least four of the sessions. Masks will be required for in person participants.

The workshop will be held over five Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET (June 7, June 14, June 28, July 12, and July 26). Join us in-person (location in Winston-Salem TBD). We will be providing participants with *all* the texts in this image, as well as lunch and childcare!

We’ve kicked off our book drive for Prison Books Collective this year. PBC sends books to folks incarcerated in North Carolina and Alabama. We can only accept paperback books, as required by prisons, and cannot take books with markings or highlighting, nudity, content related to gangs or tattooing.
