When we take care of forests, they take care of us.

They give us clean air, shelter, and livelihoods and for many Indigenous Peoples, they are territories of life.

Indigenous communities are the true guardians of forests and nature. Governments must recognize their rights and ensure that the protection of their lands rests with them. This is what real climate justice looks like.

🌍 About 73% of Indigenous Peoples live in rural areas facing poverty, poor resources & weak health services. These gaps risk lives & deny the right to healthcare.

It’s time to act! Support the Global Plan of Action for equity & #HealthForAll ✊🏾

Between 1879–1918, the Carlisle Indian Industrial School was part of a U.S. policy to forcibly assimilate Native children, erasing their identity through abuse and separation. Of 10,000+ students, only 158 graduated. 500+ children died in such schools. #IndigenousHistory

If the poor didn't grow food, the rich would be left to eat their money. Why is it that those who feed the world are the ones who go hungry?

During King Leopold II’s rule in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (1885–1908), over 10M Africans died due to forced labor, mutilation & disease.

Those who failed to meet rubber quotas often had their hands cut off.

This was not "civilization", it was a deliberate genocide.

Today is US Independence Day, but for Native Americans, there isn't much to celebrate. Millions of Indigenous and Black individuals have endured enslavement, torture, forced displacement, and brutal killings. Today, racism towards Indigenous and Black people still persists.

When colonizers came, it wasn’t with peace but with bibles, guns, and disease. They stole land, silenced languages, and tried to erase identity. Yet Native Americans endured. Their fight for justice, land, and dignity continues. We must listen, support, and stand with them.

The Sioux Nation—one of the oldest and most powerful Native American tribes, has a legacy stretching back 3,000 years. Once spanning thousands of miles across the Plains, their history, culture, and traditions remain a powerful testament to resilience and identity.
