Bitsy: Origins
First Photo is the first shot we ever got of her circa 2021. She looks so old and dehydrated, but she was only 6 months old. Second Photo circa 2022 is her wanting intense scritches. Photo 3 is circa 2022. Photo 4 is my most recent pic.
A dehydrated tabby cat with swirly looking markings. Her nose looks bulbous but in reality it was just that her face was very gaunt. We thought she was someone's older missing cat at the time. We did not expect her to be an unclaimed 6 month old cat. We let her inside a detached section of our house. Bitsy perched on one of her human father's arms while being rubbed by the other. She is leaning deeply sideways into his hand. Her blatant disregard for her own stability demonstrates the trust she has in him. Bitsy on a window mounted perch. The sun trickles over one half of her face. The quality of the picture is unusually high. I feel this picture shows off her now well filled in cheeks best. You can also admire the greenness of her eyes in this shot Most of the pictures i have of Bitsy are like this. I take pictures of her when my husband isn't there, so i can show off that she's snuggling with me. She's a real cuddle fiend, so this happens often. I don't feel these pictures show off her good looks like the others do

Mimi: Origins

Second Photo is my favorite photo of her. The striking red background and one of her two favorite poses, circa 2019. Third Photo is the most recent photo i took of her from the 20th of this month

Recentish jojo pictures
My fluffy cat mimi cozy and half asleep on the bed. Behind her is my 1 year old cat jojo who is noticeably smaller. Jojo's pupils are very dilated and her nose is straight up in the air as though she smells something yummy My cat jojo someow jumped onto the top of a door. Her pose is dynamic. Her entire body is angled towards the camera, looking down at it. Her front right paw has all of her claws extended gripping the inside of the door, right next to the hinge. Her other front paw is gripping the top of the door. She looks as though she is about to jump down off the door onto the camera holder. Jojo in the foreground has an alert, yet cognitively vacant expression. Wally, her much bigger non-biological brother is in the background grooming the back of her head. Wally's eye is a little cloudy, but it is a corneal scar he developed from an infection he had as a tiny kitten. It causes him no discomfort. They are a loving sibling duo

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.

Checking out Rednote (小红书）and i think this comment sums up PRC attitudes toward trans people pretty well.

Being queer is plenty allowed, but they don't really have a strong grasp of non binary gender.

My imprisonment Thanksgiving morning. They know i must meal prep. They know, and they cuddled harder. I had to commit a war crime (moving them) to escape.
My fwoofy cat mimi and my kitten jojo imprisoning me in bed so i cannot leave to cook turkey. They are laying between my legs on the bed looking extremely cozy and smug. Another shot of mimi and jojo, this time, jojo has wriggled her way deeper into mimi's fur because she finds it extra warm and cozy. Mimi is looking off to the middle distance trying to find her zen. Mimi has freed me by jumping down, but jojo is being even more insidiously cute. She has rolled onto her back paws splayed in random directions. She looks extremely cute and sleepy. Bitsy is out of frame mostly, but her paw is gingerly stretched, claws extended, reaching towards jojo's head.

My 6 month old kitten jojo just figured out that she can use the entrance of the duvet cover as her personal play tunnel. Her head is poking out of the holes between the two buttons that hold the duvet cover closed. She gives off a vague air of smugness

My 7 year old extra fluffy cat mimi on the right is snuggling into my 6 month old rambunctious kitten jojo, left. They are on my down comforter bathed in warm glowy light. They do not get along, so this is a mini miracle
