The capitulation of the Democrat Moderates and Independent in the Caucus show that the Democratic establishment is just as terrified by the Democratic wins on 11/4 as the Republicans are. They know their livelihoods are threatened and they know surrender is how their skeletal fingers cling to power.

Are things worse than they used to be straight up, or am I getting jaded? Like, does everyone think things get worse societally as we age or am I reacting appropriately?

I made the mistake of clicking on one damn ad in the last two years and I am STILL getting them EVERY commercial break on Youtube. Now I am not giving them money out of spite.

I think one of those ‘adult moments’ for me was realizing why they sell packs of two pens. As a kid I would lose them and go through them like wildfire. Now if I buy a big pack they will all be too old to work by the time I get four pens in.

Do not believe the news when it comes to ‘cities lost to unrest’. They will always paint their own narrative. I had to be at work at 5am in downtown Portland every weekday during the Summer of 2020. Only hassle I ever got was from cops pulling guns on me and accusing me of vandalism.
