Went to Gaylord National resort to see the ice sculpture show, The Polar Express this year. 40 artisans from China spent six weeks carving massive blocks of ice. The building is 19,000 sq ft, kept at a balmy 9 degrees! #polarexpress #christmas

Bit of a disastrous hike today - took a wrong turn, tried running back to the turn I missed and fell. Bright spot was seeing this growing on the side of a dead tree. No idea what it is but it looked neat

Every year the Boy Scouts holds a food drive. This year I signed up to help sort the food they pick up. One pack collected at a grocery store, they got 1853 lbs of food. Please give to local food banks if you can

Not sure you can read the sign but it says Witness Tree. In my neck of the woods a witness tree was around during the civil war. The second photo is the top of the witness tree
