The dedicated CPU and GPU will do a lot more work, just sucks that NVIDIA has never played nice with Linux, forcing users to do more to get things optimal.

Pop!OS can play games with less user config, thanks to the included NVIDIA Drivers included with the distro. but due to Proton being a compatibility layer, games will never run as they will natively on a supported OS, unless they have Linux support. Thats the tradeoff, im afraid.
