Thinking about the good old days and the simplicity of late 2025 when I got to visit with a friend's sister who's a sister. So I always aim for best practices. The last time I saw the sister I lobbed a question from my basket of niceties. Thank God she's game.

Gas station chicken.
I stopped at a joint down the street which carries vegan grab-and-go. I grabbed a plant-based BBQ sandwich and carrot cake with a dollop of plant-based cream.
And 3 pieces of fried chicken with 3 potato wedges.
Tomorrow, vegan BBQ.

Listening to the radio while listening to an audio cassette of music recorded from the same radio channel, separated by 17 years. In one, the announcer warned of incoming Santa Ana winds.
I waited.
Realization: I'm becoming less resourceful OR I just don't give a shit.

The Costco lady who helped with my membership said after, "Go live yer life! Go buy something!" My doctor who consistently finds nothing wrong has said, "Go live yer life. Take a walk." And after I paid for a book at The Book Lady in Savannah the cashier gal said, "Go live yer life, man."

That sultry siren Savannah sounded. I answered. She does not disappoint. My sweet tooth struck at 11PM so I hit the streets and just around the corner is The Little Crown by Pie Society. Coconut cream pie tonight. Veggie quiche in the morrow. Ivy and Santina run the joint. They're super.

Friend of a certain age was on fire about a certain public figure who shall remain nameless and said, "I can't stand that twerp!" And I, liking where this was going, added fuel with an almost bored yawn, "He's an asshole." And the friend's voice jumped an octave, "Isn't he?! He has a loose screw!"
