The AI that makes the characters in games move and react is good. The AI that automatically perfectly aligns things into a grid is good.

The AI that you can ask to write an essay or generate a deceased celebrity with 6 fingers in bodycam footage is not. Call it like it is: GENERATIVE AI SLOP

We have like at least three perfectly good names for this shit now: "genAI", "AI slop", the brilliant "digital taxidermy" coined by Zelda Williams

but I'm still seeing people call it just "AI"

come the fuck on guys. AI is too broad a term. There IS GOOD AI (!!). Don't get it confused

We absoultely need a proper distinction for bad AI, because using "AI" on its own as a catchall for everything is NOT doing us any favors, especially since AI is such a broad term

Some folks are using the term "genAI": for anything GENERATIVE, like scripts, art or movies

the first verse in particular does indeed imply that she has *some* form of memory of the game. So I took that to its logical conclusion and turned her into a nutcase.

fun fact: part of the reason I made this iteration of Elise is because of the lyrics of her theme song, "My Destiny".

It's a very standard love ballad, but when put into the context of the game, it starts to sound... kinda obsessive and creepy? Like she'll change the world just to BE with Sonic

anyway here's my Sonic.exe verse horror character, her name is Elise.

she's just like the regular Elise but from an alternate timeline where she's the only one who remembers the events of Sonic 06. Everyone thinks she's crazy because of this and her love for Sonic has grown out of control

a disheveled and extremely unkempt Princess Elise with bleeding mascara. She says:

...I can't believe I'm saying this but I enjoyed the A Minecraft Movie more than Kpop Demon Hunters

KPDH is very good but again I hate the ending, it puts a blemish on the whole thing and pisses me off when I think about it

at least A Minecraft Movie competently told its story from start to finish
