Trustees oversee aspects of governance such as safeguarding, finances and employment role specification.

The trustee role is a voluntary role which involves working as part of a team of trustees to ensure Triple A continues to work towards its stated objectives; to devise and develop strategies to ensure that it continues to do so, as well as revising the charity’s future objectives.

Lived experience is at the heart of Triple A and the majority of our staff and leadership team are either autistic or otherwise neurodivergent. We believe we are well equipped to ensure we continue to faithfully represent autistic and neurodivergent priorities and interests in Cumbria and beyond.

Services that Triple A offers include employment support, autism training and education, one-to-one autism specialist mentoring and social groups for autistic adults. We are also commissioned to run co-designed post-diagnosis “Discover Your Autism” delivered by autistic facilitators.

Triple A Project (All About Autism) is the primary third sector provider of autism services in Cumbria. We are passionate about supporting and enabling autistic adults to thrive, using peer led service design and delivery.

"Just because someone is diagnosed—newly or otherwise—does not mean that they will know what support they will need. I am someone who had support in school and university. Translating that experience into what I needed in employment was tricky. It is the same for other autistic people."

The successful applicant will utilise a person centred approach in supporting autistic people navigate barriers in their life and to increase their understanding of themselves, their autism journey and what this means for them. Full clean driving license and access to a car is essential.
