We did! Most of it, anyway. She was quite beautiful. We always watch the dog shows. Hound Group. I showed Ziggy the treeing walker coonhound. He thought she was cute. And Socrates thought the corgis got robbed. Dachshund took 4th in hound group tho, which is unusual. The short legs rarely get love

Excellent point! I was thinking about it and I think pelicans are the largest birds I’ve seen flying in formation.

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen cranes flying in formation like that. I usually just see small groups on the ground

Nope, I’m not that talented. I use regular cheese ravioli and then I make a ‘sauce’. Roast the squash. Carmelize onions. Mash the squash and add to onions. A bit of cream to make it creamy. Top with walnut or pecan bits and parm cheese. (Nutmeg in the sauce is key)

Sadly, I’m not in love with the pillow shams and my traitorous brain has already moved on to (yet) another project. I saw some throw pillows that absolutely made my heart sing. But they won’t go 😞 so now I’m wondering about doing another set of shams and quilt. I know 🙄

We’re definitely not at summer humidity levels but it’s not as dry as it was during that cold snap and boy does my hair look different. I had nearly a week of good hair days, like I actually liked my hair, and now we’re back to kinda frizzy and uncontrollable. Sigh

Gosh that’s a tough thing….deciding what to let go. (I once let a sleigh bed, armoire, and dresser go and I regret it to this day). Ah well. It’s just stuff. But too warm for my liking here today. Humidity back. My hair is no longer happy. 🤣. Hibiscus is though

It’s wonderful, isn’t it? I turn it down at night and the last couple nights it’s come on for like 15 minutes to cool it down and that’s it. I’m afraid it will start kicking on this week though. 80ish. But the clouds are keeping temps down for now.
