I want to take a break and reread the next two books (which are far more intense than these first three) closer to the May release date for the new book in the series.

It's all good he is a clinger and has separation anxiety and I also have 3 cats lol

Ahhh triggering memories of all my field ops working with astronomers/ astrophysicists in the middle of nowhere on random mountains at a large telescope installations, coffee, altitude sickness and no sleep for at least 72 hrs lol 😅

Running a small business is hard and doing when you also work full time is also hard lol

I'm probably going to go on to the second book in the Cat Lady Chronicles by Helen Harper to get some nice levity after I reread book 1 for dungeon crawler Carl because I need a different feel for a bit.

I will admit that Book 5 was just really emotional. You knew it was going to get bad. I need a break before the horror and tragedy of the next Book are unveiled. I sincerely hope that the end of this series gives the characters some level of peace and acceptance

I know I was planning to wait but the series has a lot of details and they matter later lol I also want to enjoy the beginning of the series again because it was really enjoyable

Gotta afford those allergy treatments for Kaia

The hope is to get her off her daily meds for allergies so fingers crossed ❤️

She's at the vet so she can start her allergy treatment and be under observation to make sure we can continue it at home without issues

Her fur is luxurious btw. We've gotten her skin issues to a minimum and are starting a new allergy treatment to hopefully allow her to live without the daily meds. Fingers crossed!

I'm happy I found a series that I am generally enjoying again. I was worried about the consistent disappointment I was experiencing when trying to read new books, but I just have to find the gems out there
