Mine was similar lol she recommended Brene Browns work to me and it kinda helped separate/name emotions for me. That and the emotion wheel combined with the distress scale (actually very useful tools, I used to avoid the wheel so much). Might be worth checking out if you're looking for more insights

Oh I love these birds. They, and the chickadees, are the main ones on my bird feeders lately.
