I got this secondhand copy of Daisy Bates in the Desert by Julia Blackburn from WoB’s and it had this little print of her by Sidney Nolan inside with a handwritten description on the reverse.

Another beautiful book, dispatched promptly by @longbarrowpress.bsky.social it also came with a copy of their Inventory pamphlet and a lovely handwritten note.

Been listening to this again recently, seems as important a work as it ever has.

Here the Saxon font from Burnham Deepdale’s St Mary’s church when I visited a couple of years ago, it’s the most interesting one I’ve seen in person.
