Tom Robbins died yesterday. Not all of his novels were great, but at least a couple were GREAT.

Skip the hippie-dippy '70s stuff and go for "Jitterbug Perfume" or "Still Life with Woodpecker." Fantastical romance may have been his strongest suit.
