Fiancé is practicing dissertation defense on us.
Kid has a notebook prepped, w/ sentence starters including "What is ...?" "How can you be sure ...?" and "What the fuck (optional) does ..... mean?"
Literally wrote "optional" over the bad word so it can be used or not based on the depth of confusion

I'm in the era of my #hair growing out where it somehow looks fantastic when I wake up but isn't long enough to have that many tangles.

I saw a picture of "Wandering 4-in-1 Chain," lost the picture, and recreated it from memory with steel and aluminum rings left over from my fiancé's previous projects.

We buy from thrift stores for us, but Kid has specific texture sensitivities so he bought new-new clothes for the 1st time in ~3 yrs.
He is AGHAST at how much everything costs.

Put #bananabread in too late for it to fully bake before I had to leave the house.
Didn't want my house in flames.
Turned the oven off, left the lil loaves in.
Figured at worst they were already a loss, at best the oven would cool slowly enough to finish #baking.
IT WORKED!

Put #bananabread in too late for it to fully bake before I had to leave the house.
Didn't want my house in flames.

I tried to buy something off Etsy and the order was cancelled by the seller, with a polite message to let me know that they can't afford to eat the cost of the tariff hike, and they refuse to make their buyers pay an additional 20% of the item's cost just for a new tariff.
