Hiller was hired as an assistant coach mainly for the power play. It never worked under Todd McLellan and it still doesn’t work. Talk about failing upward. McLellan might still be coach if he didn’t have Hiller as an assistant coach.

He’s not an NHL coach. He’s not even an AHL coach. He should be coaching in the juniors.

The brick chimney completely came down but that was really the only structural damage. Lost a ton of personal items. Everything that wasn’t on the ground was now on the ground and in peices. We didn’t have a dish left. A couple of houses on our block though caught fire because of broken gas lines.

I live in the Los Gatos area at the time about 10 miles from the epicenter. I was just sitting down to watch the World Series when it hit. At first I got right up and tried to keep the TV from falling onto the floor. Then ran out to the backyard only to be hit by a wave coming out of the pool.
