I was reflecting on the idea that TDS is a real thing. It isn’t. No DSM classification found. I looked for corollary diagnoses, but nothing comes close. As an actual Psychologist, TDS is fiction but it is useful as a political tool to deflect, discredit, or discount criticism.

I’m curious how DT advocated HCQ given the lack of supporting evidence at the time I know several scientists who have dedicated their lives looking for the truth, wherever it takes them. Big Pharma aside, these people are scholars. They publish in reputable peer reviewed journals.

Cool. So do I. My area is Cognitive and Social Psychology, Research Methods and Ethics, and Epidemiology, among others. This is partly why I keep posing questions about what makes people feel certain about what they believe they know.

I have not attended one of these. I know people who have and who have shared ACTUAL videos. I’m not stupid. It looked like a rally in prewar Germany. If you are concerned about propaganda, I’d reflect on that. Please share how you saved yourself from TDS.

I’m really curious about your scientific background. I know a lot of people who think they know what science is about, only to find that they haven’t got a clue.

What if more than 10% is true? I don’t follow MSM. All I need is to see what they say publicly. TDS is not a real thing. It’s used to deflect criticism away from those deserving criticism. I see a lot of MAGA flag wavers in my home town. Seems like a cult. Seems like they are the ones with TDS.

Perhaps. The current regime threatens to remove FCC licenses when they dare attempt to report something that they don’t like seems like controlling the media to me. If you’re looking for ‘smear’ examples, perhaps try Fox News during the last 10 years.

It seems like the ‘smear’ campaign against Assange sounds a lot like what the current administration is doing right now to those who oppose them. Threatening media outlets and reporters who present anything that makes the regime look bad is an example. Isn’t this also propaganda?

It depends on how you define‘propaganda smear campaign’. The definition depends on one’s perspective. It is difficult to find objectivity in the media these days, but all you need is to observe what people say and do.

I lived on the US-Mexico border for over 16 years. You would think seeing people being abducted on a daily basis would be common, wouldn’t you? It wasn’t. Yes, people were detained and deported, but they at least had due process. In case you were wondering, I haven’t been trained to hate anyone.
