Anti-kink people don't want to hear that their rhetoric can become literal rape apologia and encourage predatory behavior but it's true

If you believe that people engaging in a noncon scene actually want it in real life then if a safeword is disregarded and it actually turns into assault, it is SO easy for people to victim blame and say shit like "well what did you expect" when it happens.

If you believe sadomasochism = abuse, then the clear line between being in and out of the scene doesn't exist giving abusers plausible deniability.

If you don't hold space for dominants and give them the same compassion as you do submissives AND understand what the true dynamic is between them outside of scenes, then you are giving the greenlight for dominants to be coerced and abused. By shaming the desires of a dominant you are blatantly disrespecting victims by comparing a persons want to please a submissive and engage in consensual scenes with REAL LIFE abuse.

If you impose a blanket ban on any and all kink it will create an environment where kink content isn't clearly defined and designed to be covert to exist in SFW spaces, allowing for bad actors to again, have plausible deniability. If you've been on Deviantart and ever opened art requests, you'll know the horrors that are Kink Farming.

Education on kink is important and without it we get shit like Fifty Shades. There are already too many people that believe dominants are just predatory men trying to find excuses to control women which not only completely disregards the inherently queer and subversive culture of kink, but it also leads to the things I listed above.

Kink will exist wether you like it or not, we may as well make it safe.
