As a teacher, all school shootings get to me, but the Apache one is hitting me incredibly hard. I think it was seeing a teacher my age being killed doing what I would have been doing: trying to make sure students don't get killed. Gun violence is too rampant and so are the guns.

Poetic finish at lunch today. I have had a group of students, mostly seniors, that play poker in my room every week(No actual money, but bragging rights and loser cleans up after lunch). For the seniors, this was their last lunch period to play.
