(The Bone Temple) Really harrowing and gross but surprisingly optimistic and shot through with gentle beauty and I suspect Garland (across the trilogy) is ultimately telling a hopeful story about our relationship to one another, ourselves, and the earth. And making a true theatrical event of it.

(28 Years Later) The more formal shooting style feels as bold as the iPhone did as we re-examine the landscapes and faces with big wide readable imagery that has absorbed the adrenaline. Cameras evolving dialogue with its characters telling the story as much as anything. Wonderful stuff.
