Well this is neat: Harvard bought what it thought was a reproduction of Magna Carta, back in 1946 for $27.
Turns out it's an original copy of the law code from 1300!

I don't regret leaving the Ivory Tower (to become a public high school teacher). But I do wish I had rappelled out of a top window with a flaming torch and a dagger between my teeth, instead of just sort of slowly tumbling & hitting every balustrade on the way down.
