I will watch more of this series, and I like that Jigen's Gravestone is released as a "movie" but overall I'm more excited to get around to the actual Part 4 and beyond.

Also I hated Oscar the Fuckboi Twink, but mostly because he felt incredibly out of place among Lupin characters.

I think it unfortunately suffers from the circumstances of its release. It had been almost 30 years since a new Lupin series was made, so this was THE new Lupin series instead of just A new Lupin series. It's absolutely not a "part 4" but I think some tried to view it that way.

I would probably like it more if it was an OVA or movie. There are definitely some superfluous episodes that detract from the overarching plot, which seemed like what the director wanted to make. It didn't feel like anyone was really passionate about the... "Fujiko seduces Fidel Castro?" episode??

Highly recommend After God as a companion read to Hikaru. Has some similar themes and character relationships imo
