My Anxiety Is Giving Me Anxiety
@tropicblunders.bsky.social
Lifelong fan of the Chiefs, and second chances.

Also, 80’s new wave is my jam.
I feel like they are not protecting the QBs so far this post season. That was forceful contact to the head and neck area, no?

So great to see him do well!

No, you’re missing receivers being open, and quarterbacks getting them the ball without having to extend the play.

Oooh. Yeah, no. We’re literally going to end up having to have two separate spending/salary caps here to keep it fair. Win for the players I suppose.

Classy.

Can’t wait for a dome……. Wait.

Yeah. OTA in KC was bad too. Had to be a feed issue from fox.

Here’s one metric I can’t imagine they actually care about, considering these stadiums keep reducing the number of seats. When KC’s new stadium opens, they’ll have engineered about a milllion fewer in person viewers per year.
January 7, 2026 at 12:40 PM
What they really care about is % of seats filled, and revenue per seat.

I saw this earlier. Under him ”Baltimore had the 4th most regular season wins (180) behind only the Patriots (193), Steelers (183) & Packers (182).

The Ravens were tied for 3rd in postseason wins (13) behind only the Chiefs (18) & Patriots (16).”

Going to be hard to replace.

We all want our teams to win. Win they don’t, we want someone to blame. Did Harbaugh make mistakes? Sure. But every season, 30 other HCs make mistakes that cost them a title. Sometimes, it’s just one mistake that dooms an entire season.
January 7, 2026 at 2:18 AM
Sure was.

Ah, yes. All those missed tackles he had, interceptions he threw, kicks he missed.

Who’s that person?

Folks, spend 5 minutes and look at the PSL costs in Buffalo. 10k fewer seats, die hards priced out. Get ready for a fan mix of 60/40 home/away fans.

It’ll be a beautiful facility, catered to the wealthy.

10k fewer fans. PSLs that price-limit the die-hards to a couple games a year, and ensure more sales to opposing fans. It’ll be a beautiful sterile playground for wealthier people than you, and I.

Do yourself a favor, spend 5 minutes and look at Buffalo’s PSL costs.

Fewer STMs in a packed stadium is way more revenue when you’re charging “market value”. Their pandemic approach to ticket prices based on fewer seats should inform us as to their plans.

I get it. I HATE IT, but I get it.

Maybe we can get special Chiefs financing for our PSLs with the low low introductory rate of 20%?
December 23, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Just wait till you have to pay $6500 for the right to buy the season tickets for $2000 that you’ve paid $1400 for over the last 20 years.

Nothing says “Fans first” like asking a middle class family of 4 to pay $32,000 for lower upper level deck seats with worse sight lines than you have now.

Mark Donovan said that the polling they did didn’t show overwhelming negativity towards PSLs when asked by Todd Leabo.

Pretty sure that’s disingenuous at best.
