TF2 is an interesting case. It too used to have random damage spread. Notably, the Sniper Rifle did between 127-172 damage (full charge). When spread was disabled, the 150HP Medic went from surviving a bodyshot 50% of the time to 0% of the time...

Random crits are a whoole can of worms hahah

Ah that's a good point! I know Hexen tried to have upgrades via armor pieces but I never felt their impact at all...

my lesson yesterday was pretty much a straight 120 minutes of driving in rain, with the last 60 minutes after sunset. wet leaves everywhere too. I can see how this can happen
