I couldn’t hate anything of Taylor’s, and retrospectively it all makes sense within the cannon. Still down at the bottom of my list with Midnights though lol

It’s a melodic and lyrical low point for me, I’m afraid. But in general I think world was expecting another 1989 and was turned off by it.

It is international law. It would be the same story if the army came to your door and said they were moving you 250 miles to a town of their choice. The asylum seekers have the same rights you do.

In short, asylum seekers are under no obligation to seek asylum in the first safe country they come to. They have the legal right to seek it in the country of their choice. For a sovereign nation’s navy to interfere and ‘return’ people would be unlawful.
