A 3D printed set of Ghostbusters Ecto Goggles. They've been sanded and painted to look like a set of night vision goggles, including the addition of real snaps around the sides, decals, and padding around the part that goes on the face. A collection of 3D printed props from Star Trek The Next Generation on a United Federation of Planets flack backdrop. Across the back is a phaser rifle, then left to right in front of that is a cricket phaser, a dustbuster phaser, a cobrahead phaser, and a boomerang phaser. At the bottom of the photo is a TNG combadge. A blaster used by the Rebel Fleet Troopers at the beginning of Star Wars. It's 3D printed, sanded smooth, painted, and lightly weathered. A laser pistol from Fallout 3. It's 3D printed and finished to be as smooth as possible, before getting a base paint, some water-slide decals, a yellow cable, and then getting the hell weathered out of it.

I mean, this IS what's literally on my workbench right now.
Mainly because I got the photo, and haven't been able to do any work down there since.
A pile of 1:1000 Scale Star Trek models. On the very top is the 1701 Refit, and then stacked side by side are the Reliant, the TOS Enterprise, two NX-01 kits, the Defiant, and the Grissom with Klingon Bird of Prey. Stacked longways under those six are Voyager, the Kelvin from the 2009 film, the Discovery-version of the original Enterprise, the Excelsior, and the Enterprise B from Generations.

Just got my KoDT Codex of Many Tales. Lord, I miss my long box full of single issues and Bundles of Troubles, but this is definitely a great way to start getting everything again.

Packed up and heading to Anderson, Indiana for the Anderson Public Library's Authors and Artisans Fair. We'll be set up from 12-4 today along with some other hopefully cool small businesses.

The back of a blue 2011 Scion xB, with the hach lifted. Inside, the back is packed with 4 black boxes with yellow lids, one large rolling black box, a collapsible wagon, a Chewy shipping box, and four plastic shoeboxes. They're all fit together to be secure for the hour drive. Everything, except the wagon, is filled with 3D printed niftiness.

Had to drive 40 miles round trip this morning to do some printer trouble shooting for my father.

I deserved some little treats. The Fallout/Jones Colas will be split with the Geekling, but the Magic 8 Ball Hot Wheel is ALL MINE.

I hate it when they tweak one of the parts I use to make things.

The old is the rainbow hook on the left, the new is the blackish on the right.
Two earring hooks. One is simple, with the hook attached to a small metal piece that gets clamped into the item I'm making an earring out of. The other has the addition of a jump ring between the two parts, and the metal clamp piece is thicker and pinched together.

Thanks to everyone who grabbed a duck or two yesterday. Between those, and a commission, I shipped out my first packages since September!

I might have found some stuff at the toy show I brought the Geekling to today.

They were looking for Monster High stuff, I ended up with some Hot Wheels and some Trek stuff. Also got a couple dirt-cheap model kits for building practice.

Of course, all these are getting ripped open.
Hot Wheels cars for the Bat Boat from the 1960's Batman series, KITT from Knight Rider, a concept KITT from Knight Rider, and a yellow VW Beetle "Bumblebee" from Transformers. Star Trek Micro Machines. One is alien ships from Deep Space Nine, and one is ships from Generations, including both the Enterprise B and D. Licensed "communicator talking sound badges" from the mid-1990s. One is Klingon, and one is Bajoran.
