Professionally, worked for 25+ years in emergency services (EMT, firefighter, dispatcher, etc.). I love animals, especially dogs, and have done a lot of dog rescue. Reading and writing fantasy stories takes up most of the time that is left!
Yep, baby steps. Bit by bit he’s losing his support. But man, it’s just infuriating to me to keep reading stuff like this. “I love you Mr. President, but…” 😑

The 20,000 other evil things he’s done didn’t register, but THIS was a step too far for them. 🙄 Madness.

Not to mention, it’s an absurd comparison (as it always is, with these lunatics). Kirk was divisive and hateful. Reiner was a good person. It’s like saying, well geez, y’all were hateful towards Hitler, I can celebrate the Pope’s death.

Unreal. This country is sick. The last year has been a huge wake up call for me, for a lot of us, I think. There is a big chunk of the population that are a danger now to the rest of us, because of their ignorance, their hatred, their conspiracy madness.

Me too! (Coming from Texas, here)

Yessss.

That’s awesome! Exactly the event I was thinking of. I bet it was incredibly satisfying. We need our own Berlin Wall moment, post-Trump.

Agreed!

I want to personally take a sledgehammer to the cement in the rose garden.

I like that, the Divided States of America. Not your main point, I know. But that’s striking to me. We are no longer the U.S.A., with Trump sending troops into Dem states, refusing or blocking aid to Dem states, etc. It’s important to call that out.

He’s committing Nixon-level crimes (and worse), near daily. He’d better fucking be in political danger. It’s an abomination that it’s taken this long. He was committing treason and illegal acts literally the first night. 😡🤬

Yup. For those who live in very blue areas, it may seem unreal, but I’ve had a number of co-workers since moving to Texas tell me stories along the lines of Noem’s. Proudly, without shame. Believe it. Tons of them are like that.

I’ve been thinking along these lines. The celebrities and senators fawning all over him need to pause and look around. The room is mostly empty now.

I think they have. And all he wanted to do was be left alone and live his life. All of them did, I’m sure. So sad. But I’m sure pulling for him!
