4. Although we have so many mugs we cannot close our cabinet door, I always reach for the few that make me smile. Typically uniquely designed as a whole, not just printed.

1. It should be rotund, not straight sided. It just looks cuter, and feels better to hold when you're warming your hands.
2. Even though I rarely finish the last 1/3 of my coffee it has to be a higher capcity mug than a "cup". If it's too small, a -la "normal size from the 1900's" it's too small.
