whatever savings we might have from not having a raise in property taxes are not passed down to renters or businesses who pay their taxes to a landlord. It ONLY benefits land owners.

You know when the cost of living goes up and you don't get a raise so you have to start giving things up to survive?

That's what it means when politicians vote for 0% property tax increases. It means they will just do less. It means expect less. It means we don't deserve the same, let alone more.

In theory, I want equity baked into every aspect of the work an org does. But CoV is not there and cutting this department and a signal to equity deserving groups that City of Vancouver under the current leadership does not work for them.

You can use the seeclickfix website and not download the app. You could email engineering too but I have heard it's a slower response because they triage on the seeclickfix platform.

Yes AND we buy and sell homes pretty regularly and we already know most people do not choose their home to match their parking or use the parking as personal storage and expect to be able to park on the street in front of their home daily.

I do not. When I chose a home with only one parking spot, I downgraded to only 1 vehicle. I don't' think we should be using our streets to store cars that could be on our private property.
