Sure. I just always wonder if the talk about AGI is real or just hype to attract investors and research funding. The best calculator is the real world (try simulating water) and I wonder if human intelligence requires the same computational power. Not to speak of Moore's law and limits of transistor

I could be wrong, but I don't see the current algorithms developing super intelligence. They're essentially a program that fits a model based on awesome amounts of data. By that logic, they should be able to get very good, but capped by human intelligence, which created the data it is based on.
