Oh my god Metaphor is so freaking good! If I was being objective, tossing aside my own biases, I'd say Metaphor: ReFantazio is one of the greatest games Atlus has ever made. Is it perfect? Of course not, no game is. Does it dethrone my favourite game of all time? No, it doesn't, but I think it 100% sits somewhere in my Top 40. Where? I'm not entirely sure, heck I don't know my exact Top 40 games of all time order. What I do know however, is that Metaphor is special. All I wanted to do in my free time was play it and anytime I wasn't playing the game, I was thinking about it. It's had an impact on me that I never expected. I just wanted to play it because it's an Atlus game and I love their work. But goddammit, it hit me like a Gauntlet Runner and I never looked back. The message at the end of the credits too, oh man. Fantasy can have a profound impact on the world, and Metaphor proves that. Final rating: A very biased and personal 10/10 (S+)

As of right now, Emma Millstein! I've always loved characters with glasses, but her being a Witch was the icing on the cake! Her personality and character growth throughout the Cold Steel arc is amazing as well. Plus she reminds me of my wife @artsymystic.bsky.social 😊
