This volunteer Tall Goldenrod (Solidago altissima) has attracted an unbelievable number of insects over the past several years, but this is one of my favorite native bees I've seen on my property. iNat is suggesting this is Drury's Long-horned Bee (Melissodes druriellus), but I can't verify that

This Great St. John's Wort (Hypericum ascyron) finally bloomed this year! It's been present for 3 or 4 years (I didn't plant it), but it hasn't bloomed until now! It's absolutely beautiful and I love it (as an added bonus there's a hoverfly about to land)

Ohio Spiderwort (Tradescantia ohiensis) is blooming for the first time on my property, and the little pollinators are loving it (Margined Calligrapher - Toxomerus marginatus)

Recently took a trip to the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge - it's quite a magical place. It looks like they burned quite a bit of the area we were in last spring or fall (the Oak Savanna Learning Center), and it's really cool to see things greening up like nothing happened :)

Here is one of our 2-year old baby Lead Plants (Amorpha canescens). We started these from seed and planted them in the early summer last year. They're the cutest little things!

I planted a couple Large-flowered Trilliums (Trillium grandiflorum) last year... Here is one of the blooms!

Unfortunately, the other one was dug up by a critter earlier this spring before I could cage it... But, you know, the critters gotta live too.
