That’s incorrect. This new policy requires a much longer period of impoundment (90 days minimum) and required a citation to be issued, and citations can be challenged in court. From the article:

I did read it. Did you? They get an extended impoundment period of 90 days and they must be issued a citation which can be challenged. Happens all the time, everywhere.

These evil products just make me so angry. Beta testing on suicidal teens. They had a solution - refuse the convo - and REMOVED IT because it broke the marketing delusion that this is human-level intelligence.

LLMs already exceed all other uses despite not even being a viable product. It’s prima facie not sustainable without optimization. The low-hanging fruit is in renewable power gen but, lol
If LLMs were solving a clear problem we could discuss trade-offs. Alas.
