like, what makes games worth repeatedly questioning like that? the only difference between those other art forms and games is that games are interactive. what part of being interactive makes it less obviously art? now i'm just doing "games are art discourse" discourse. don't mind me

it's so confusing that people still talk about whether games are art and not, like, movies, or tv, or photography, or books
not that i think we should be questioning if any of those things are art, ofc, they obviously are. i just don't get how "are games art" isn't also a "solved" issue in that way

i don't normally do speedpaints but i randomly decided it would be fun to try it with this piece. here is that.
the quality is garbage for like most of the process because i was drawing in a tiny little corner of a giant canvas and then it gets crisp right at the end when i crop it properly. oops!
