We literally have to wait for people to die before they will invest any money. New housing estates have been built without walking access to the local primary school, and parents all drive because the volume, speed and size of traffic makes it unsafe to walk without a pavement.

This is such an important and yet opaque topic. Really hoping you can shed light on the issues and solutions. We're struggling to get any changes because the police/council won't declare the 50mph roads sufficiently unsafe to warrant road safety measures unless there is at least one fatality.

In rural Wilts, booked Uber hours ahead. They cancelled 5 minutes before, apologising and giving us a 20% discount. Worried we were stranded. Except we tried again and managed to book an Uber to arrive in 3 minutes (ie at the exact time we'd booked it for)... For 80% of the cost. How to rate that?!?
