From Project 25, to Trump’s own speeches,
they have never tried to hide the planned dictatorship. 77 million ‘Muricans chose this. Over 60 million eligible voters stayed home.

Why doesn’t he just dumb it down, say what he really means: “Shut up and comply, or you will be shot too!”
January 9, 2026 at 4:37 PM
Daring Democrats to engage is not a terrible bet. With milk toast “leaders” like we have in the House and Senate, who can’t seem to spit out a coherent theme … let’s hope Mamdani, AOC, Mayor Pete, Bernie, Jasmine, Talarico, and our huge list of talented REAL leaders take charge!

When Trump finally slithers off the stage (his health is so obviously abysmal and rapidly declining) will things be markedly different for the year or two we’re stuck with Mini JD? Better? Worse?

GOP reps more concerned about an outraged F-bomb during committee hearing, than the murder of a young mother by ICE. Says all you need to know about MAGA priorities

The killing of unarmed civilians starts with excuses.
The disappearances, of people documented or not, citizens or not, starts with excuses.
The withholding of taxpayers funds from “non-compliant” communities starts with excuses.
Before long, the regime will decide the excuses are unnecessary.

So true. The voters don’t need a senator who trusts whatever lies she is told (by Trump, by Kavanaugh, by GOP leadership), they need a senator THEY can trust to do the right thing, putting THEIR interests first

He will never be arrested, and even if he was, Trump would definitely grant him a pardon, and probably give him a medal

Does anyone think Stephen Miller would have cautioned Hitler against the use of gas chambers to eliminate 6+ million human beings? (My guess? Miller would have had one question: “Is that really the most we can do?”)

Many say a woman can’t get elected president, so certainly there’s no hope for a gay man either. Could be. But perhaps the reaction to MAGA and Trump’s devastation will be so intense, voters will seek competence above all else?

Jack Smith was ready, and had the receipts. Merrick Garland’s timidity, and the Supreme Court’s complicity, and GOP leadership’s duplicity, are the reasons Trump faced no consequences
January 6, 2026 at 5:52 PM
And has the audacity to:
- list “failing to cede an election he lost” as a reason for illegally kidnapping a Maduro
- pardons coup participants, even those who violently attacked Cap Police
- fires DOJ career officials who worked in Jan 6 cases and tried to hold him accountable
January 6, 2026 at 5:48 PM
Trump “ignores the Constitution and the Rule of Law” because he has 53 GOP enablers in the Senate, 220 more in the House, and 6 on the Supreme Court (plus Dem leaders who think strongly worded “We’re really upset about this” letters are enough)

Now that we have destroyed Venezuela’s infrastructure, its death spiral will only accelerate. Who do you think the people of that nation, and the world, will blame? (Hint: South Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.)
January 6, 2026 at 3:41 AM
Agree, though I think you can just put a period after “DJT regime.”
January 6, 2026 at 1:35 AM
Because you’ll see the back of Squeaker Johnson’s perfectly coiffed hair as he runs from the cameras, claiming to be too busy to know anything about Trump’s latest [fill in the blank] illegal outrage
January 6, 2026 at 1:33 AM
But hey, 77 million ‘Muricans voted for this, voted for the rejection of science, of children dying, simply because they are a worthwhile sacrifice on the altar of bigotry and victimhood.
January 6, 2026 at 12:13 AM
Tragic, and all in furtherance of the uneducated, unquestioning populace required for authoritarianism to maintain power.
January 6, 2026 at 12:07 AM
Sounds just like a Nazi “Fatherland”/“Aryan Superiority” manifesto (which is, of course, precisely what it is)
January 5, 2026 at 6:22 PM
All true, but the fear of the madman we freely elected to run this country, and his willingness to use its military and economy for vengeance and profiteering, will prevent every one of those actions.
January 5, 2026 at 5:58 PM
Think of all the “leaders” who could, with an ounce of backbone, have stopped this from ever being possible. Mitch McConnell. John Roberts. Merrick Garland. The list goes on…
January 5, 2026 at 2:02 AM
I’m sorry, but can someone smarter than me explain why Maduro doesn’t just get a pardon?
