Yeah, I don't think the 30 miles on electric, rest on gas is valuable in that you maintain both power trains as you suggested...so totally agree. I think the extended range ones that use a generator to charge the EV might be OK since you get the extended range w/ just electric powertrain.

Missed that, apologies. Which one did you drive? I have never driven one but kinda liked the concept. Ultimately, I think battery tech/range will explode so no long term need…

You declared EVs are mid and under whelming. I highly disagree except in the case of Tesla so assume (like you have unless you’ve driven all EVs) you drove a Tesla
