Investigation? Are you going out of your legal-assed mind? Arrest the gunman. What is there to "investigate"? This was either manslaughter or murder. That can be determined at trial. If qualified immunity gets him an acquittal, then so be it. But get this killer off the streets NOW.

Why is the gunman not already under arrest? In any other case, there would be an APB out and roadblocks everywhere. And we don't even get the shooter's name? "We'll have an investigation." This was manslaughter at minimum, and if they denied urgent medical care, then murder. Arrest him now!

Most people are in plans that don't allow them to see their choice in doctors already. It is called managed care networks. I know people who have had to change doctors almost every year. On real Medicare, I have been able to keep all my doctors through cancer and another life-threatening disease.

Does he really not know how ridiculous he looks? You would think a person in his position could afford to have a really capable make-up artist. Actually, he would do well to hire the best mortician in town. They are excellent at making corpses look presentable.

I don't know if the Pope is "holy". But if Mr Ed's scenario happened, I believe the Pope would say, "Nobody is 'illegal' simply by existing." Then he would welcome them, feed them and pray with them.

We already have a system addressing every question you have raised. It is Medicare, and none of the doctors "work for the government". We should eliminate the "Advantage" program and offer Medicare to people under age 65, with them paying premiums = the ACTUAL cost of their age cohort. Simple.

What you are not acknowledging is that our for-profit system costs twice what any other country pays for BETTER HC results. What we can't afford is to keep doing this insane for-profit system that rewards executives for DENYING care. I realize greed/power doesn't give up easily, but it must.

Precisely the case. When Mr. Cuban says "We aren't other countries", maybe that's what he means. In this country, we privatize everything and with health care, it becomes shitty coverage that costs twice as much as anywhere else in the world. Why can't we have nice things too?

Time for the State Police to randomly stop ICE vehicles and check the plates against the VINs. If they don't match, arrest the drivers and impound the vehicles. And if they DO match, hold them for 30 minutes just to irritate them. If they complain, throw them to the ground and 'cuff them.
