Nigel Farage has done more damage to the UK than anyone since Hitler. Enabled by the BBC and the rest, he risks doing so much more. We are in an Information War, which we must win.
WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR A GIRL (BBC)

Well it doesn’t get much wilder than this cracking depiction of masculinity - right across the spectrum.

Whilst the antics of the gay crowd might not surprise, their violent, hyper- masculine consorts certainly will.

Bigups to Ellis Howard and Jake Dunn.

SCOTTISH WATER

Pure, plentiful, delicious and NATIONALISED.

(Of course we would consider selling it to our southern neighbours if necessary. Wouldn’t want them to die. But we’re talking hefty tariffs.)

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW Etc.

OLD: Forth Bridge
NEW: Cruise Liner
BORROWED: SK novel you can’t quite see
BLUE: My electric bike. And therein lies a tale…

I bought the bike 3 years ago. Never dreaming ReformUK would adopt that blue as their colour. So I hate it now. Gotta sell it to the BBC.

LE MOT JUSTE
You know, at my age it’s quite an achievement just to *live* for 400 days, let alone pick up a little « parlez vous » en route. (See what I did there?) Wasted on Bluesky I tells ya 😂

See ya at 500, kiddo!

WHY NOR, MAN

(And you thought it was in Newcastle 😂 )

SIZE MATTERS
This must be the biggest poster I’ve ever seen. Netflix certainly going to town with a new series, set in Edinburgh just ten mins walk from this poster.

The show is adequate. It’s no Slow Horses, but then nothing is. Give it a spin, and get ready for the subtitles!

HOLIER THAN THOU

Much though it pains me to reproduce this arse-wipe bogroll “newspaper”, and it does, the amount of glorification this accused man is getting is off the scale.

I’m expecting an announcement any day from Pope Leo about his sanctification.

HE DROVE A CAR INTO A CROWD FFS.

PAGE TURNER

Well that’s the next week taken care of. Thank you Stephen King. May you live long and prosper. (And keep churning them out.)

EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE

So much baggage for a three hour spin around the high reservoirs. You’d think I was camping.

This one is called Torduff Reservoir.

Scottish Water is owned by the people of Scotland. Clean, pure and delicious. The water’s nice too.

DEAR SIR KEIR #17

Good job restoring WFA to pensioners who need it.

Please DON’T restore it to

1. Me
2. Sir Mick or Sir Paul
3. The King

I haven’t got a pic of the King, but here’s Prince William driving in Edinburgh today. He’s in the first car, and you can almost make him out.

WAYS WITH WORDS #23
Spotted on a display in Edinburgh’s fashionable St James Quarter.
So it’s bye bye to the pedantic but ultimately unnecessary FEWER, and hello to LESS.
Not before time innit.

NE ME QUITTE PAS
is a Jacques Brel song, gloriously sung by Dusty Springfield in the 60s, in parts English and French. “If You Go Away.” Try it!

I wanted it to mark my one year Duolingo French streak, as I celebrate both my application and fascination with the French tongue.

Old dog, new trick!

A STROLL IN THE PARK
Edinburgh, Scotland has an extinct volcano right in the middle of it. Murders have been done here. This was my fun day out.

IS ANYONE THERE?
My scantily clad ladies are all getting deleted. It’s like Love Island gone wrong. Bluesky is bonkers.

Elm seeds in my local park - and it’s only April. Wish I was that organised!

This one’s significant, and puts me into CEFR level A2. (Explanation in the comment below.)
This took 51 weeks at 30-45 mins every day, for anyone interested in Duolingo.

START ME UP
This is my new Starter Pack 😂
Stephen King is in it. So are most of you. Sorry about that, as I haven’t a clue what I’m doing! Life was much simpler in the 90s with Blogger.

Scottish al fresco breakfast, city style.

(I was so busy putting the tram in that I forgot to include the breakfast. It was double espresso and chocolate caramel cheesecake.) All the food groups!!

THE SHINING
Social Media should be more fun! (I’ve just put a comment on SK’s own thread!) If he replies I’ll faint clean away lol.
